We have had Samantha talking about and excited for the neighborhood swim team ALL year! Sign ups came and Aunt Melissa waited in line for hours just so Sammie could get a spot on the team. Each day at 4pm we would walk down to the pool for practice.
Our neighbors, Mary Beth & EmmaLyn, a friend from ballet and a church friend were all there.
The only problem? Swim team is all business and no fun. :(
We figure you can only motivate a 4 year old so hard before you cross the line of a pushy parent.
There is no secret she is a swimmer and loves the water, but after 3 weeks of practice EVERYDAY...Sam respectfully declined further attendance. :) We are going to put her in a year-round team and have her better prepared for next year.
