I finally figured out how to get Alayna to smile for a picture. I am holding up a Santa toy that sings and dances. Yay for smiles!

Blake's work party = date night!

Just about every morning I find the toilet bowl cleaner thingy out around the house...I knew Alayna was the culprit, but couldn't figure out why. Every night I vacuum the downstairs and tonight Alayna was right at my feet. She ran off for a minute; then came back carrying the cleaning wand. She followed me everywhere, pushing it back and forth. Doesn't she know she has a toy vacuum?!

These next few pictures were a giggle...I always know when Sammie has had her hands on the camera.

Preschool Christmas Party

Why does each school party consist of the parents standing around, watching their kids eat? Not the most fun...so, Alayna and I took over the extra seat and pounded M&Ms.

Sam's job that day was prayer leader.

At the end of the party, he kids had a book exchange.

Sammie has been practicing for her preschool Christmas since before Thanksgiving. She comes home from school everyday pretending to be her music teacher, Ms Jay Jay. She carries around stacks of stapled paper and acts out the entire play. My favorite is when she sings, "Happy Birthday Jesus."Sammie got to be THE STAR.

 This girl sang her heart out!

 And remembered all the actions to every song.

 "I'm so glad it's Christmas!"

Thanksgiving Day Parade

We continued our tradition of staying downtown Houston on Thanksgiving Eve in order to wake up and walk out to the parade.

Dewberry Farms - Take 2

Samantha's Preschool had a field trip to Dewberry Farms. We invited Grandma & Papa to tag along since it was their first time to go. It was quite a cold day, but we were able to get to the things we didn't do last time. In fact, I'm pretty sure we didn't miss an activity.
